Challenge Gran Canaria is preparing a significant change for 2027. The plan is for Age Group athletes to race on Saturday 17 April, with the professional race taking place on Sunday 18 April.
Separating the fields will provide a cleaner course for the PRO race, make the officials’ work easier and strengthen race safety. It also opens new possibilities for sports coverage and for the amateur participant experience.
TriSpain will follow the evolution of the event and its place within Spain’s middle-distance calendar.
