Club La Santa confirms 24 April for the shorter races and 26 June for the inaugural middle-distance event.

Volcano Triathlon will have two dates in Lanzarote in 2027. The sprint and Olympic-distance races are scheduled for 24 April, with the new Volcano Triathlon Half following on 26 June.

The established race returns in April

Club La Santa’s event dates back to 1984. The sprint will cover a 750-metre swim, 20 kilometres of cycling and a 5-kilometre run. The Olympic race uses a 1.5-kilometre swim, 40-kilometre bike leg and 10-kilometre run.

A new middle-distance event

The Half covers a 1.9-kilometre swim, 90 kilometres on the bike and a 21.1-kilometre run. The organiser lists a single bike lap and three run laps, with individual and relay participation.

The June Half is a separate event from April’s races. Athletes planning a visit should check the official Club La Santa information for their chosen distance and date.
